Created by Adyn Tadduni, a 21-year-old artist based in Connecticut.
Why “twistedandivine”?
The name originated from the acronym tad, a nickname Adyn has carried throughout his life, derived from his last name.
twistedandivine represents the belief that negative experiences can be transformed into something meaningful. The idea emerged during a period of personal hardship, when creating became a way to channel adversity into something positive. Every challenge presents a choice—to become better or become worse. This philosophy remains at the core of the brand.
The Designer
The brand was born from a passion for art and customization. What began with painting shoes and reselling clothing quickly grew into a fascination with fashion.
After launching in late 2023, the brand’s earliest projects focused on upcycling vintage garments and screen-printing T-shirts. That curiosity soon evolved into self-drafting patterns and constructing original garments from the ground up.
As both a nursing student and an outdoor enthusiast, Adyn draws much of his inspiration from anatomy and nature. These influences became the foundation of the brand’s design language and the message behind the April 2025 runway collection, “intension.”
intension
intension is a collection of 13 runway looks that blends themes of anatomy, nature, and adaptable clothing. The garments incorporate unconventional materials—including transparent leather, bone, and fur—to explore the relationship between the human body and the natural world.
The collection reflects the idea that the human body is a continuation of nature. Branching veins mirror the structure of trees, while the use of animal fur references humanity’s earliest forms of clothing. These concepts are combined with elevated casual silhouettes to offer a fresh perspective on contemporary fashion.
Adaptability is another defining element of the collection. Many of the garments can be worn and styled in multiple ways, allowing the clothing to evolve with the wearer rather than dictate how it should be worn. This philosophy continues to shape the distinctive design language of twistedandivine.
